On Mum and Dads last night visiting we went Downtown for dinner, taking the Seabus from the Quay.
It was a beautiful warm evening and we walked along the seawall from the Waterfront Station towards Coal Harbour and Mum took these great photos.
Canada Place with the North Shore beyond.
David, Dad and myself.
The ‘raindrop’ on the corner of the Convention Centre.
The west side of Canada Place with Mt Seymour in North Vancouver in the distance.
The seaplane terminal in Coal Harbour.
After dinner the sun was setting as we walked back towards Gastown and Waterfront Station.
Canada Place had now illuminated it ‘sails’
Downtown buildings including the illuminated Harbour Centre.
The rotating globe in the new Convention Centre.
The Lionsgate Bridge seen over Stanley Park with the Convention Centre to the left.
The sun setting over Stanley Park.

The lights of the North Shore with the mountains silhouetted behind.
An amazing red sky as the last of the light from the west disappears

Finally a picture of David and I. We had an excellent three weeks with Mum and Dad visiting as always it’s over too quickly but we look forward to our return visit later this year.

Thank you both (and Mojo)for a great time. Vancouver remains a beautiful place, particularly at dusk. Very good photographs, by the way.
