David had read about a studio in nearby Lincoln City where you can go along and, with assistance, design and create your own glasswork.
The sessions were booked at the Jennifer Sears Glass Art studio for the afternoon, once created the glasswork can be collected the following day.
Each session booked allowed approximately one hour of one-on-one tuition to create one object of choice, from floats, paperweights, bowls etc.

David works on his fluted bowl.
It’s starting to take shape
Jay works on his float
The items were ready to be collected about 24 hours later, as they must be allowed to cool at a very controlled rate to avoid cracking.
Everyone was delighted with their creations, Davids bowl, Dennys heart paperweight and Jay’s float.
At just $135 we thought the hour tuition and creating your very own bowl in your style and colour was very good value (the floats and paperweights were only $65).
Since we have returned home the bowl has found it’s ‘spot’. Well done David on this awesome piece of work !
