Today Mojo and I walked along the Pitt River to the head of Pitt Lake.
The journey out to Pitt Meadows is quicker now thanks to the new Pitt River Bridge on the Lougheed Highway which opened in the last few months.
On the way to the lake we cross the Alouette River. Views to the West.
And views to the East.
Views across the meadows towards the mountains.
I noticed this house was built onto two huge pieces of rock.
Lots of farmland leading up to the mountains.
The view along the road leading up to the lake.
We then walk alongside the Pitt River as it comes out of Pitt Lake. Looking West here along the river.
Views around the park.
Then the views of the river opens up into the lake.
Looking East along the trail from the raised wildlife viewing platform
The view south over the nature reserve
One of many cabins people own along the lake edge
It was a very windy day so poor Mojo was getting blown to bits and wouldn’t keep his eyes open !
Mojo dips his feet (and belly) in the lake to fetch the plentiful driftwood.
Down at the waters edge.
Finally, a brief panorama of the area. A nice quick easy walk on a proper blustery spring day.

The 4th picture is so pretty!! What exactly is this place? Will it be possible for you to pinpoint it on google map?
Thank you !
Thanks for your comment. The 4th photo was taken in Pitt Meadows, BC on McNeil Road just East of the intersection with Harris Road.
