While David and I have been very busy in the last few weeks with our respective employments, I took the opportunity to take a few photos this week at Bridgman Park.
We are lucky people. Not only do we have this opportunity to come and live in Vancouver but we have loads of lovely family & great friends that we want to share stuff with.

New Sports Season
As Adrian has already testified, Spring is here at last!! With it in Vancouver we mourn the end of the hockey season but in it's place come my prefered sport, that of lemon Pip Bobbing. All you need is a sunny evening on the deck, some gin, Tonic, Ice and a good squeeze of lemon from which you must also aquire a few pips.
This short video Superbly demonstrates the sport at it's best.

Spring
Spring seems to have been very late arriving this year, with an unusually cold April and late snow showers.
While we haven't been very successful sustaining plantlife in the house, largely due to the lack of natural daylight particularly during the winter months, we are enjoying more success outside.
These are a few shots of the trees Mum & Dad planted during their stay last summer.
This is the Indian Plum (we think that's what it was called anyway)
The red plum is also doing very well
However the witch hazel Bloomed in the middle of Winter (as it is supposed to) with firey red feather like flowers. Didn't get a pic; maybe next year? It looks like the leaves will arrive soon.
And the beech is also about to burst into life
