Coln St Aldwyns

After an all too brief visit to Adrians sister in the Lake District we headed to the Cotswolds, about a 5.5hr drive south from the Lake District and half an hour or so west of Oxford.
We were meeting some friends who had moved back to the UK from Canada and decided to stay in a country inn that was also good for dinner so that we could catch up and not have to drive anywhere. We settled on the New Inn at Coln St Aldwyns.


Our room was in the Dovecote to the rear of the inn.

Back on the patio after a walk around the village (see next post). It was definately 6 o'clock somewhere.
