A day after our return from the UK our body clocks were still a few hours ahead, so when we awoke for the second morning at 6am we decided to get up and take Charlie for a walk in the morning sun.
We headed out to Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver.
Here we have views East towards the Lionsgate Bridge, Stanley Park and the city skyline.
Charlie, probably thinking he didn't have to get up this early for a walk at the kennels. Perhaps it wasn't that bad there afterall.
Point Atkinson Lighthouse. There has been a lighthouse at this location since 1874, although the current one was built in 1912. This is also the location of the first birth of a Westerner in West Vancouver in 1876 when James Woodward, son of the first lighthouse keeper was born.
Views across to Bowen Island.

MV Britannia passes us by. After researching this cruise ship does city & harbour tours but not at 7am, so it must have been chartered for a special event.
