End of Autumn

A couple of weeks ago we marked the end of autumn with the annual leaf collection in the garden. While the majority of the trees around our property are varietys of fir we have enough decidious ones to keep us busy in November.

Last year we bought a leaf blower/mulcher to help with the job.

We are going to severly cut back the tree in our front garden this year to let more sunlight into our living room, so perhaps this will be the last year of heavy leaf-falls from it.

Then I use the sucker/mulcher to collect them all and drop them in the yard trimmings bin.
